Unhappy Tulsa Police Kill Unarmed Black Man-Video

Video footage released Monday showed Tulsa police shooting an unarmed man to death on Friday night after he approached his SUV with his arms raised.
In footage filmed from a police helicopter, Terence Crutcher, 40, can be seen slowly walking from the edge of a street north of Tulsa toward his vehicle, which authorities said had been reported abandoned at 7:36 p.m. (8:36 p.m. ET) and left running in the middle of the road.

For several seconds, an officer follows Crutcher from behind with a gun trained on him. Three more officers then converge on the scene as Crutcher lowers his hands and approaches his SUV. While standing beside the driver's side door, he suddenly drops to the street. Moments later, blood can be seen saturating his white t-shirt. The Tulsa Police Department also released dash-cam video of the incident.

During a news conference Monday, Tulsa Police Chief Chuck Jordan said that Officer Tyler Turnbough tasered Crutcher, and a second officer, Betty Shelby, fired at him after telling a dispatcher "that she's not having cooperation from" Crutcher.

    Unhappy

Just when we were beginning to breath again and heal, a tragic incident in the death of another unarmed black man has occurred. This time it's very close to where I live, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

This time the evidence is striking and very clear. The victim was obeying the commands of the officers to the letter. His hands were up, but he was shot and murdered after first being tasered.

This is so bad, and so, here we go again. The anger, frustration, the hate towards ALL police, and the accusations against those who support police officers will increase if the officers involved in this travesty aren't brought to justice swiftly. God help us!

Tragic. I wonder if he was on something. Why would someone leave their vehicle running in the middle of the road? That said, the police response was extreme. I wonder why the taser wasn't enough to stop him in his tracks?

His car was broke down. It can be idling and still not be drivable. Anyway, he clearly had his hands up.

Not justifying the shooting at all but...

Why was he walking away from the officers?

    Why didn't he just cooperate?
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...

Its hard to tell for sure but at the 0:57 mark he puts his arms down and appears to be reaching into the vehicle.

Again, NOT justifying the shooting, but he was NOT cooperating or "obeying the commands of the officers to the letter" at all.

As he was slowly walking towards his vehicle with both hands up, the officers had ample time to take him down to the ground. Why would you allow someone to walk to their vehicle? You're either a COWARD, or you wanted a reason to shoot.

I've watched the video several times, there were 5-6 officers were on the scene, they had time to rush him while his hands were up. This was murder or at the least negligent homicide.

He was a pretty big fellow.

    And he was not cooperating.

He wasn't "actively" fighting them, but he was certainly not obeying instructions.

    Why?
