Suicide by cop occurred to me...I also read that the car was blocking the whole road, not pulled off to the side..is that accurate?...there is no sound to prove he was not talking to her as he walked away...if she was telling him to stop and then he stopped and reached into the car, her shot makes sense....we just don't have all the facts

I have watched cop shows and they will order a suspect to stop multiple times if they are walking away or approaching them...but as soon as they do this AND add any other movement they will take them down.

Any sign of resistance puts cops on alert and if that resistance is at all threatening they kick into high gear...

PS why would she call for backup if something had not preceded this short video clip...would other cops have responded that way if she had not?

The lady cop that did this is TOAST... they just tazed the guy and he was already down, so there was no reason to shoot him.

She's gonna have fun in prison with ladies that will... well, you know.

Look at the 30 second mark from the helicopter....no way he was tazed and then shot,,,both officers were too far from him to taze him..the helicopter video is much easier to see this...at the 30 second mark both officers are at the end of his vehicle and he is at the front window..unless they can taze from several feet away...

I think the officer who said he as tazed thought he was tazed but he had actually been shot...that is how it appears to me..

The lady cop over reacted. You don't kill a man for something as simple as this. She was trigger happy

    Why?
So what he was a big fellow? What has that got to do with anything?
Police are not only trained to use their weapon effectively, they are also trained in defensive physical tactics. And there were at least 5 or 6 of them on the scene.

The question isn't why the victim didn't cooperate, the question is why didn't the police restrain him before he reached his vehicle while his hands were up? I sum it, as I did before, 1. They were AFRAID, in which case they have no business being on the force. Or 2. They wanted a reason to shoot him, so they allowed him to get to his car so they could justify it.

Plenty of cops have been in that situation and haven't killed the person

I was sitting next to a man who pulled a knife out and saying how he was going to kill his wife. But the first thing you feel is fear for your own safety. So if I had a gun maybe I should of shot him
I have been physically attacked by a demon possessed person who punched my friend and I had to grab him in a bear hug as he cursed, salivated and tried to kick me

Thousands of people have been in life threatening situations who don't need to kill unless its unavoidable

He shouldn't have been allowed to reach the car. Or didn't you read my full response?

I have, and in 30 years I NEVER shot an unarmed suspect. NEVER.

Even when I was patrolling alone, I've restrained resistant offenders. This was a clear cut case of negligence and cowardice on the part of the officers. Period.
