So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
Steroid benefits - Mania or hypomania (high energy levels associated with increased self-confidence, increased activity, impaired judgment, and reckless behavior)

I wouldn't call any of that "benefits". The "increased self-confidence" is hormonal, meaning it is dislocated from any other part of reality than "what my hormones dictate". It is a decidedly anti-social kind of "self confidence". I've talked to high level bodybuilders enough to figure out what that amounted to. One was making a total mess out of himself but the hormones kept his self confidence going on autopilot.

My post was sarcastic. I've had the displeasure of working with juiced up men (roid rangers).
>> self-confidence, increased activity, impaired judgment, and reckless behavior
All true.
You are basically working with grown men driven by the emotions of a teenager, a very dangerous thing.

Actually much worse than a teenager and the problem is that they typically learn to control it just they might explode anyway. Especially when drinking alcohol.

No alcohol necessary Colonel. As I said, I know first hand how roid rangers act.

Well I've discussed this with many including ex-bodybuilders gone anti-steroids and also read research papers on it. Alcohol is the typical thing that removes control where they are normally able to apply it. I've also been around several in work situations. Their behavior varies even when they appear to be at approximately the same level of abuse. People react differently to drugs.

Like any other dug abuser they will always claim that they "have it under control". They don't.

Psychological addiction is very typical. They think they aren't addicted because it isn't very physical in nature but the steroids tend to paint themselves in favorable colors until there is no way the abuser is going to give up on them even if he has problems, including health problems.

Cops and Steroids .... not a good marriage.

Right. They think they need more muscle to do the job and what they get is addiction and roid rage.
