The next Prime Minister of the UK will be a woman

The home secretary, Theresa May, and Andrea Leadsom, the junior energy minister who campaigned for Brexit, will be the two candidates put before Conservative party members in the vote to confirm Britain's next prime minister.
In the second round of voting by Tory MPs, May scooped up 199 votes, Leadsom scored 84 and Gove was knocked out, with just 46. The choice means that the next British prime minister is guaranteed to be a woman, the second after Margaret Thatcher.

    are you OK with this?

I know you weren't keen on leaving the EU, but since it's happened.. what's your take on what's going on now?

Oh no problem with a woman PM. I'm old enough to remember Maggie anyway.

I happen to not really like any of the candidates though! I mean I'm not very right-wing anyway (I'm sure you had no idea ;) ) but Leadsom seems to be full of *cough* and May I haven't liked as Home Secretary. For one thing one of her aims was to abolish the Human Rights Act 1998. I fear that this will be some sort of "anti terrorism" thing which will ultimately legalise spying on everyone all of the time. Short-term, and in the wake of Brexit, I think May is probably our best bet for having someone strong and focused but I worry about the longer-term consequences.

The whole Brexit thing is still crazy at the moment. The pound has plummeted in value compared to the dollar already, for example. It's now under $1.3 to £1. I've never seen it that low in my memory. Before the referendum, it was $1.50 to £1.

We need someone firm and decisive to start making stuff happen and actually HAVE A PLAN.

You're right, the last time it was lower was in 1985 :

It has plummeted a lot more several times though.

WHY would any Christian be opposed to leaving the godless EU???

That's how all the muzlims got imported into the UK was because the EU put them there and the UK government could not do anything to stop it.

Now, the UK is being taken over by muzlims. It's a shame what's happened to a once great nation.

Keep it up and you guys will be even lower... and become like the US!

    The EU countries are:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the UK.
Countries in the the European Economic Area:
The EEA includes EU countries and also Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. It allows them to be part of the EU's single market.

Switzerland is neither an EU nor EEA member but is part of the single market - this means Swiss nationals have the same rights to live and work in the UK as other EEA nationals.
From which of these countries do you believe Muslims immigrated into the UK from?

They could have gotten into the EU then travelled freely from some member country and to the UK. My impression is that they mostly immigrate directly from countries in the middle east or asia. Maybe from pakistan and india since those were originally under british rule ?
