    Well, living in S. Florida and having Cuban friends and such I can tell you that Cuba is really the size of Australia, every Cuban I know had thousands of acres confiscated by Castro.

    Most of them were also doctors.

    Last time I checked, medical doctors made almost no money in Cuba. Just housing plus a few cents.

    We should have resumed trade with Cuba a long time ago. I know everyone likes to demonize, lionize Castro but sanctions don't hurt dictators, they always live large, sanctions hurt the peeps.

    It's the old adage, you get what you pay for. In Cuba many go to "medical school" and become "doctors".

    Perhaps Mr. Castro wants us to pay Cuba back for Q. Bay, which we essentially stole from them in the early 1900's. (We made them an offer they couldn't refuse.)

    Of course, if we start paying people back for all of the land that we've stolen, we'll be broke!
