    1 of 2 charges dismissed against anti-Planned Parenthood activist

    HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS - ​A Harris County Judge has dismissed one of two charges against anti-Planned Parenthood activist David Daleiden.

    Daleiden faced two charges: one misdemeanor for the purchase and sale of human organs and a felony for tampering with government ID. The misdemeanor charge was dropped Monday, but he is still facing the felony charge.

    Daleiden wrote on Twitter, "Pleased to announce the first sham indictment against me in Houston, TX has been dismissed: @PPGulfCoast @PPact #QED"

    On Tuesday, the Harris County District Attorney's Office said they will not fight the judge's decision and will instead focus on prosecuting the felony charge. A hearing has been set for July.

    Those charges are so bogus anyway. I can't believe someone isn't doing something about them. If the tables were turned and this was some liberal doing the same thing with some conservative group there never would have been any charges at all.
