Its an old plane too...gonna go see it?

"It requires a crew of six because it was conceived and designed in the former Soviet Unio, well before the era of high-tech cockpits. The crew is captain, co-pilot, chief flight engineer, flight engineer, navigator and radio operator.

Before qualifying for the An-225 a captain has to fly the smaller four-engine An-124 for four years.

While the original design was built around 1970s technology, it was upgraded in 2000 and 2009..."

They could just ask the man in red for an impartation of the flying anointing, along with the proper cape. Arriving for ministry by descent through the ceiling will work even better than arriving by a private jet of whatever size and then the money can be spent on something else.

I had two flights on an Airbus 380, the large commercial jet, last month. Hated it! It takes off like a sack of potatoes and has ice on the wings for every landing. I suspect the monster in this OP is far more sloppy on take off and probably scares everyone on landing. Of course, Soviet engineering was mostly scary anyway. Please don't ask me to ever fly on another Tupolov.
