Sounds like he is a Mitt Romney type and isn't quite sure what he is or is playing both cards.

Judging from what I've read, Londoners elected him because they think he'll be more likely to address the problems that concern them, such as affordable housing. I don't think his religion really came into play, although his opponent tried to make it an issue. To me (and I can't say I've been following him closely), he seems like a secular moderate progressive, not of the far left, and certainly not a radical of any sort.
So, is he calling the moderates Uncle Tom because he is a conservative muslim, or extremist mulslim?
That was on Iranian television, that is where it is tempting for a Muslim to play along with the conservative-to-extremist forces. It could be interpreted as the man having little integrity in relation to his religion, just like Mitt Romney who seems unsure if he is a hardcore Mormon or something completely different.
In one sense it doesn't matter what type of Muslim he is.
Britain was used by God to evangelise the world with the Christian faith and to vote in a Mayor from a demonic faith reveals how much they have fallen
At least they have quit doing things like trade slaves, murder the Irish and force China to become completely infested by opium abuse.
Well every Brit isnt fond of the idea of being governed by a genuine Muslim.
