Yup. We just put in an order to withdraw a fair chunk of change from our corporate bank account. We've been in process of moving to a credit union and have accounts set up - this is just speeding up the process.
All eyes on Jesus!

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
I remember 2008, I thought we would go "Mad Max", I was wrong.

Looks like Biden and the Feds are doing another "bailout" to avoid the mad max scenario, or at least delay it for the time being. At the tax-payers expense of coarse. The printing presses are running non-stop as inflation goes into high gear.

2008 was pretty rough for a lot of folks in metro Detroit, especially in the automotive industry. A lot of people lost their homes (also due to bad financing deals like ARMs, etc.). My husband lost his job in 2009 as part of the continued fall out of 2008. I hung on to my job at the time, thank You Lord, or we would have also lost our home. In the time of the famine of jobs, my husband and his friend, who also lost his job in the same downturn, started a business that has been a wellspring of provision for us for the last 13+ years.
However, in this time, people will suffer, make no mistake. And when our gubermint continues to heat up the printing presses and print money, you know this is only going to lead to one place, and it's not a good place for anyone except the elites.

Yes, 2008 was a life changer for many people. In my community over 1/2 of the homes went into foreclosure, values got chopped by 2/3rds, it was awful for many people. The bankers all kept their jobs, got bailed out and were held up as heroes for saving the economy. Maybe they'll do that again, it worked once (for them).

The thing that saved my job in 2008-2009 was that Delphi went into bankruptcy. That meant they couldn't fire anyone. So, we were in a holding pattern until the company was chopped up and divisions were sold off. But after our division got sold off (a couple of weeks later) they started walking people out the door. I survived, thankfully, while my husband bit his nails and hoped his business would take off.

I didn't even come close to losing my job back then or being laid off. Same with the early Covid panic shut downs. Everyone needs a garbage collector.
