Sounds like you may be a fan of secular music, right?
Surprise surprise, there is actually a lot of secular music that is good, some that actually surpasses some "Christian" music in terms of musical excellence.

Yes, the Lord did say that in the end times there would be those that call evil good and good evil...
What you are saying is absolutely true... to a carnal mind who enjoys the things of this world.
Good luck with all that!

That's very judgmental, you don't even know what other songs were sung at the funeral...and just what is so wrong about honoring someone that you loved with that beautiful song? The bible is full of verses about God's great love to us and of how we are supposed to give honor and love to others too.

We sang what the family requested. You know what DID come out of it? Time to spend with my son, laughter with my son. God uses everything for His good.

Every other song was Christ centered...."Unforgettable" was my friend's husband's favorite secular song. Sometimes there are songs that remind you of someone...and that's what she wanted. (someone's negative opinion is inconsequential to me )
