Sad. She explains why she turned from God in the article. I think she's acting out in hurt.

The irony is that God is more interested in people who are hurting than in those who know no pain. Hope she comes to realize she's missing out on healing from her pain, running away from the healer. Sad, but a common mistake.

As if how her family treated her has anything to do with there being a God or not. I don't think she's being honest why. I think it's just her being a Christian then getting caught up in the entertainment world.

She behaves and speaks very much from bi-polar. We had a neighbor with bp and everyone treated her terrible (her description). We finally met several members of her family and I couldn't believe how different they were from what she said. She would be hospitalized and come home in fairly good condition and then would get off her meds and became a different person. The day came when she turned on us as well. She was also a hoarder.

She explained her rationale: "God would not allow that to happen to me if a God existed."

This is the "why does God allow bad things to happen to good people" argument.

For anyone going through problems, this is a question that must be asked and answered.

I think they should have left her conservatorship in place. I really hope nothing bad happens to her as a result of her lack of oversight.

That question doesn't apply to Britney and many others who live a sinful life and reap what they sow

There are of course people and especially children who have suffered through no fault of their own
