No issue here. Well, the worse problem we could have would be if natural gas was cut off....

The biggest thing we must do is to learn to NOT rely on the government to help. Once you have that mindset and start looking at your circumstances in that way, you'll be better off.

In that case, nothing beats good old fashioned wood heat.

No wood heat. We looked into it. Split level house (tri-level) and there is no good place to put the stove. It's so frustrating! However, we have a cabin with a woodstove and we can always bug out to that location.

I'm not saying it won't happen or couldn't happen.. I think anything is possible with the current leadership, but I've been hearing this sort of thing for years. A relative of mine bought dry food that's suppose to last 25yrs.. it's about to expire.
What makes you think it's different this time?

Well... let's see. Have you read The Great Reset by Glenn Beck? I read this recently and it was eye-opening. I think many people are just the frog in the pot of water which is slowly boiling - only the frog doesn't know it.
The ESG score is worrisome. It's your Environmental, Social and Governance. These are three key factors when measuring the sustainability and ethical impact of an investment in a business or company. However this can also be used to rate YOU for whether you are able to get a loan or mortgage.
In Canada people who participated in the protest had their bank accounts seized. What would happen if you no longer had access to your money?
I talked with my mom a couple of years ago and asked her why she canned and made jam and stuff like that. She told me it was because of inflation in the 70s. I remember spending summers with my brother and sister at the dining room table peeling and chopping vegetables, and the pressure canner going "shsh-shsh" for hours and hours.
So, yes, I have some freeze-dried foods. However, we do eat these items. I have ingredients, not "meals." By that I mean I have freeze dried diced chicken, freeze dried spinach, etc. I also bought a 3 month "kit" about a year ago when I was super concerned. I also wanted something I could load up easily into the truck if we had to leave our house and go elsewhere.

WEF does have an agenda - 2030
Eat bugs, not beef
No private ownership of anything (you will own nothing and you will be happy)
Control the climate (hahahaha)
Social manipulation of beliefs (anyone ever in Facebook jail for posting something not in line with the faceless "censors"?)
Zero population growth
etc., etc.
