Yeah, they are vicious with DeSantis down here. The mom of one of the kids went on TV to blast Desantis, of course she forgot her mask.

We will all be laughing at this dumb masking up stuff soon enough...if not, then you are the ones we are laughing at.
Last spring I was in line at our little hardware store where everybody knows your name...we all stood with toes on the tape, cashier wore a mask and was behind a plexi shield. When she spoke to me I honestly could not understand her and asked her 3 times to repeat herself. Finally I ripped my mask off and said "I'm done with this stupid crap!!". Grabbed my receipt and walked away with cheers behind me. Within the week there was a sign on the door pointing out that a mask is recommended but not required to enter. Hooruh.

It's always been voluntary down here but early on 99% were wearing masks in stores, now it's about 50/50. I used to hold to a "when in Rome" policy, if everyone was masked I would do it, thinking it was just courteous but now, no way, won't happen.

When going to Walmart you could safely guess 10% will be masked.

I'm still seeing about 50/50 across the board, even in Wally World. Fear is a powerful thing, I'm thinking some people will never stop wearing the mask.

I was in Florida last month and my Uber driver complained non stop about your Governor. I finally said "Dude, I will trade you in a heartbeat.. you can HAVE Gavin Newsom". I proceeded to tell him how high our gases prices are, housing, rent, state income tax etc. that shut him up real fast.
I think they're supposed to lift the mask mandate in airplanes March 11. Hopefully. They're not quite as rigged as they was. Some of the flight attendants were power tripping.
