It's not so much that science was "wrong" but that science changed based on the data we were getting. That's the way science works. Now, do I believe everything that comes out of Fauci's lying mouth? (totally rhetorical there, because Fauci is a lying little troll!) But I think we need to look at all things closely because I'm hearing some pretty insane nonscience-nonsense on both sides! I was reading a report on researchers in Japan entering a Phase III trial on Ivermectin. I then heard things like, "Trump, bleach, horse dewormer" and "That's a lie! Japan hasn't approved ivermectin for COVID" These people, see? the messaging and the messenger (Laura Ingram) is the problem! So, true, it's not approved for use in Japan, but there is a Phase III trial which would not be done if there was not data that supports that this could be a good idea! It's also passed Phase I (safety) and II (initial efficacy) and moved on to Phase III which is to determine if the treatment is better than the standard treatment. So, that tells me just by entering that stage, that ivermectin IS useful in treating COVID, it might not be better than the treatment we have now, but it's not to be scoffed at. Am I right Heidi?
