Imagine if we named every flu or cold "variant" because, you know, viruses mutate. It's kinda what they do!

With 46 mutations? Fauxci can't keep up with it. BidenPelosiSchumer can't find a spin for it.
Absolutely fascinating watching what they will do next.

If people would stop getting tested every time they have flu or cold symptoms the narrative would die out.

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Florida pushing back on the psychology of testing (gas lighting).
In short, the governor and Florida surgeon general only want people who have symptoms to get tested, and if positive, to get treatment. They don't want businesses to require testing for customers or workers.
"
It's time to say bye-bye to that other model and let's go back to people sort of making voluntary decisions, living their lives, pursuing what they want and not sort of defining everything that they do around whether or not the test is positive or something else like that," Dr. Joseph Ladapo, Florida surgeon general, said.

and STOP. TESTING. HEALTHY. PEOPLE!
If people would calm down, it might actually be helpful to test mildly ill people if they want the COVID version of Tamiflu because it needs to be administered early, but that should be done through the person's doctors office and sure, count the numbers, like they do the flu, but quit freaking out about it!

Our local orchestra (Detroit Symphony Orchestra) requires testing before attending, or to be fully vaxxed. I find this hilarious in light of so many vaxxed people getting the C this winter. Many of DH's friends who are fully vaxxed are getting the C and they are wondering why they bothered to get vaxxed in the first place.

The argument is that the illness is not as serious for the vaccinated, the trouble with this is that since the virus has always been mild to most of the population, it's hard to quantify what the illness would have been if you were not vaccinated. My parents are in the high risk group, they were vaccinated and got sick for about a week. Perhaps if they had not been vaccinated, they would have died. I still err on the side of the vaccine. It's also interesting that they had their antibody levels tested last week and found that they did not have many antibodies present after their illness two months ago, so natural immunity is not guaranteed to protect you. Honestly? I don't have the answer. I think this is a combination of a very contagious illness that we are still not equipped to deal with, we have a media whose bread and butter is to ramp up the drama to sell papers, and a government who's moto is "Never let a crisis go to waste" and the last is that this is a very serious manufactured virus that we still don't know what we are going to end up with. That's what worries me the most when I see that my Chinese colleagues STILL have not come back to work. I feel like they know something I don't!
