    Kroger to Punish Un-Vaxxed Employees

Dec 14 (Reuters) - Kroger Co (KR.N) will eliminate some COVID-19 benefits for unvaccinated employees starting next year, as the supermarket chain pushes more workers to get inoculated amid growing concerns over the spread of the Omicron coronavirus variant.

The grocer will no longer provide paid COVID-19 leave for unvaccinated employees and will apply a $50 monthly health insurance surcharge to salaried non-union workers who are unvaccinated and enrolled in a company healthcare plan, a spokesperson said on Tuesday.

When is somebody going to sue over this? I can't just believe people quit without a fight. Get a class action suit.

I quit shopping at Kroger long ago. During the beginning of this fiasco, their PA system was all propaganda. It was nothing but fearmongering and after my last shopping trip in early April 2020, I quit going there. Nothing like being told to be afraid, to cower in fear, stay away from people, don't breathe. Very similar to my former hair salon which had signs up all over their salon "No Unnecessary Talking" and this was with masks on!

This is the way. Simply stop supporting business that promotes the agenda.

    Agree.

Employees need to walk off the job. They are at an advantage right now. Good workers are hard to come by right now.

Also, several former employees in California are filing joint lawsuits which the companies are trying avoid.

I'd be telling jokes, stories, what happened at church, just make a general nuisance of my myself.

They are putting nails in their own coffin. No business can afford to lose employees right now. If their entire work force would ban together they would have a lot of clout to tell them to knock off the nonsense.
