Thread: 40,000 Americans Stranded in Afghanistan

Every Afghan who helped us should be granted refugee status and admitted to the United States immediately. I don't understand what's holding up the visas.

We can't change the culture of Afghanistan, but we can help those who want to escape from it.

Maybe that's why Dementia Joe folded like a cheap lawn chair, to import more democrats. An argument could be made that they should stay where they are.

The hope was that those who helped us had a progressive view (or at least a less regressive view) of how their country should be organized, and that they would contribute to the movement of their nation away from the cruel and conservative vision of the Taliban.

To evacuate them prior to the fall would be to admit that the government never had a chance, and that the (relatively) progressive vision for Afghanistan was impossible to achieve. It was probably believed that a preemptive evacuation would have hastened that fall. In hindsight it probably wouldn't have made a difference.

Now, given that the fall has already occurred, to leave these people stranded seems to me both cruel and un-American.

Yes, njtom, typical Leftist move, create chaos and misery and then "fix it" by importing democrats or rigging elections or defunding the police, all else is un-American and cruel.

The puppet in the White House was only following orders so I don't blame him too much, he probably doesn't even know what day it is today.

I was just telling my wife in the last couple of days that Biden has no policy at all. There is a group around him that has their agenda, and he just basically just does what they tell him to do. There's no doubt that's how it works.

Trumps whole presidency the press, dems, etc, were trying to put physical health issues on him and there was never anything obvious. Biden is barely coherent in many of his press conferences and they don't say a word. If Trump exhibited even 1% of the mental problems Biden has you would be hearing about it nonstop and what a danger he is being president.

Typical leftist lie. The people that were taken out were not even vetted. Some were already expelled from the US for things like RAPE but got on the Biden express anyway.

This is all intentional. The left will create crisis after crisis, I'm sure the next phase will be hostages and then of course they will have to "do something". This is all so predictable, like clock work.
