Thread: Islamization Explained

  1. #11
some years back, Mark Steyn did a book talking about the population thing. He pointed out that because of falling birth rates in western nations, they have to depend on immigration.. and since the muslims have a huge birthrate going, it's only a matter of time before they do overwhelm.

It's disturbing to see the attitudes now.. and when it's too late they're going to be very upset.

I know that saying "God is in control" is bothersome for some folks.. but it's what I hold onto. He's taken His people through many bad places and He will always have His remnant.

I don't know that I lean on "God is in control" as much as I rely on "God has a plan" ... maybe that means the same to some people.

God being in control implies to me that if He's in control, why would He let something bad happen to someone He loves.

The word speaks of God having a plan and a purpose for me and others, for good and not for evil, to give us a future and a hope. It speaks of all things working for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. It says we WILL have tribulation in this world. But what Satan means for evil, He can and will use it for His glory.

Maybe it's semantics, but I actually DO take exception to "God is in control" as it almost negates free will to me and it doesn't explain or comfort me in what His people have to sometimes go through in this world. But I know you and I know that's not what you mean.

But, again, there's going to be a huge end times harvest, and Muslims are getting saved. They're seeing Jesus, the man in white. We actually don't really know what the next 50 yrs are going to look like, much less to the end of the century. Shoot, the last 10 years have been mind boggling... the last 2 years!!! We know what it says at the end of the BOOK, but between now and then? Only God knows.

Yes....I'm praying for a huge Muslim harvest here. It has been said that more Muslims have come to Christ in Iran in the past 25 years than the past 2000 years. It's amazing what God is doing in Islamic nations.

I do have to commend Cindy Jacobs, C. Peter Wagner, and others in the prayer movement who, in the 90s, were literally and with great intention, praying (for Muslims specifically) in the 10/40 window, and several years in, we started seeing the fruit.

The 10/40 Window is located from 10 degrees south to 40 degrees north of the equator.

There are 69 nations across northern Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia in the 10/40 Window.

Two-thirds of the world's population — 4 billion people — live in the 10/40 Window, including 90 percent of the world's poorest of the poor.

95% of these 4 billion people are unevangelized

The seat of every major non-Christian religion – Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Animism, Atheism, and Sikhism – is headquartered in the 10/40 Window.

It is estimated that 1.6 billion of these people have never had the chance to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ – not even once!

87% are the poorest of the poor, living on an average of only $250 per family annually.

In many of the 69 nations, witnessing the Christian Gospel is illegal and will result in imprisonment or death.

45 of the 50 worst countries in the world for persecution of Christians are in the 10/40 Window.

Child prostitution and child slaverly run rampant in many of these nations.

Horrific abuse of women and children remains unchecked, including an epidemic of pedophilia.

A majority of the world's terrorist organizations are based in the 10/40 Window, and children as young as 18 months old are trained to be Jihad soldiers.

The 10/40 Window is home to some of the largest unreached people groups in the world such as the Shaikh, Yadava, Turks, Moroccan Arabs, Pashtun, Jat and Burmese.

Aprroximately 4.75 billion individuals residing in an estimated 8,357 distinct people groups are in the revised 10/40 Window. 5,829 (62.5 %) of these people groups are considered unreached and have a population of 2.91 billion (61.3 %).

He not only "lets" but brings it at times (leprosy on a king, being carted off to slavery, actually, death for sin to begin with in Eden.. etc,)

    Only God knows.
that's basically what it means.. God alone knows what's coming, and it's all part of His over all plan.

Some of it isn't great for everyone, but the bottom line, His people will prevail.
