The Fuel Crisis
The southern regions are getting hit hard with shortages and outtages this morning. How is it where you live?
And for the "truther" bunch, does anyone get the feeling this was planned in order to levy Gov't control of refineries, fuel transport, gas stations, etc? How about the resultant food shortage? Med shortage?

A sister from church just texted me and said she went to Sam's Club to pick up a few things and get some gas, and they were all OUT!

Lots of lines and gas stations already out of fuel. The toilet paper thing all over again. Hope it's passed when we leave for FL Thursday week.

It's all planned. There are no coincidences... like Texas getting hit with all that cold weather... all planned and executed.

You don't want to be the one without, do you? Peer pressure and fear combined. I'd love to be out of gas... but I wouldn't want the truckers who bring me southern produce to purchase in the grocery store to be out of gas!

In any real fuel shortage the consequences will have a tsunami effect on nearly every area of consumer goods. Trucks would be ok for a while because diesel supplies might last a bit longer.
Question is, refineries and pipelines have manual overrides that should prevent a computer related crisis.

I filled up yesterday even though I wasn't close to being empty. No problems, no waiting. We'll see in the coming weeks.

GA has declared a state of emergency. Almost every gas station I pass now is out of gas. Most affected I read are GA,NC,SC,FL, and VA. And we're supposed to head for FL a week from tomorrow. Let's all agree that this be resolved shortly. I did read that they were hoping to have a majority of it resolved by the end of the week though. We'll see.
