Ooh you make me live now Jesus
Ooh you make me live
Oh you're the best friend that I ever had,
I've been with you such a long time
You're my sunshine and I want you to know
That my feelings are true, I really love you
Oh you're my best friend
Ooh you make me live
Ooh I've been wandering round, but I still come back to you
In rain or shine, you've stood by me God
I'm happy at home, you're my best friend
Ooh you make me live
Whenever this world is cruel to me, I got you to help me forgive
Ooh you make me live now Jesus, Ooh you make me live
Oh you're the first one, when things turn out bad
You know I'll never be lonely, you're my only one
And I love the things, I really love the things that you do
Oh you're my best friend
Ooh you make me live
I'm happy at home, You're my best friend
Oh oh you're my best friend
Ooh you make me live
Ooh you're my best friend

That's hardly the same thing... it was God's will that ALL men be saved, so that was His way of informing Peter that it's OK to share the Gospel with those that are not Jewish.
Up until that time, the Jewish believers thought salvation was for the Jews only.

Do you have an audio for 'Thrill is Gone' version too? I didn't see it listed on your link.
Yes, that's me. Thank you. We just did "MY Sin is Gone" for our Worship the King Friday service. It will be a while before I get it mixed down into an MP3.
I forgot that there is an old Van Morrison tune that we have re-worked also. It is called "HAVE I TOLD YOU LATELY LORD"

Some hyper-religious folks might call these evil. However, They are tools for reaching the lost and for building up (edifying) the body of Christ.
On the 2nd Saturday of August we sponsor an event in our little town called "A SPARK IN THE PARK". It features our FFF Praise Band and several other Christian artists. The gospel is preached, and the love of Christ is shown to many lost souls. At the same time, the believers get to have a day in the park praising the Lord too!
This next summer will be our 6th Annual event. It has been awesome to watch it grow.
Sadly, the other church in our small town, a KJV only Baptist church does not participate, and they don't even recognize the music as Christian Music because it doesn't fit into their set parameters for what upright Christians should be singing.
This is sad because it is a chance to show the love of Christ to our community.
We gave away like a dozen brand new bicycles this year, on top of thousands of dollars of other prizes (thanks to many donating businesses and families). People are floored when we tell them that there is no charge. They get free hot dogs, cotton candy, pop, chips, games and many prizes, and we get to show & tell them that God loves them and wants them to become part of His family. The happy faces are priceless as we show them God's great love and grace!!!
And there sets another "church" just a couple of blocks away that snubs their nose at it because it ain't about hymnals and an organ. Truly sad.

That sounds wonderful! Do you usually do it every August? You're near Grayling, right? I usually go up North late summer and stay near there.
Now give us more audios of your songs.

When you're singing alone you've got a Mick Jagger vibe to your voice. Some portions sound almost just like him to me.

Well, if you REALLY want to reach the lost... why not serve beer and hire some strippers?
Lots of folks will come out to hear the "gospel" if this is done.
Enjoy the secular music while ya can cause... it's not going to be found in God's Kingdom
