    It's you, you're all I see
Ooh you make me live now Jesus
    Ooh you make me live

Oh you're the best friend that I ever had,
I've been with you such a long time
You're my sunshine and I want you to know
That my feelings are true, I really love you
    Oh you're my best friend

    Ooh you make me live
Ooh I've been wandering round, but I still come back to you
In rain or shine, you've stood by me God
I'm happy at home, you're my best friend

    Ooh you make me live
Whenever this world is cruel to me, I got you to help me forgive
Ooh you make me live now Jesus, Ooh you make me live

Oh you're the first one, when things turn out bad
You know I'll never be lonely, you're my only one
And I love the things, I really love the things that you do
    Oh you're my best friend

    Ooh you make me live
I'm happy at home, You're my best friend
Oh oh you're my best friend

    Ooh you make me live
    Ooh you're my best friend

That's hardly the same thing... it was God's will that ALL men be saved, so that was His way of informing Peter that it's OK to share the Gospel with those that are not Jewish.

Up until that time, the Jewish believers thought salvation was for the Jews only.

Yes, that's me. Thank you. We just did "MY Sin is Gone" for our Worship the King Friday service. It will be a while before I get it mixed down into an MP3.
I forgot that there is an old Van Morrison tune that we have re-worked also. It is called "HAVE I TOLD YOU LATELY LORD"
    Intro: E---G#m—A—B—x2 Key=E
    V1
    E G#m A B
HAVE I TOLD YOU LATELY LORD I LOVE YOU,
    E G#m A B
THERE’S NOTHING IN MY LIFE LORD, ABOVE YOU
    A
YOU FILL MY HEART WITH GLADNESS,
    G#m
    WALK ME THROUGH MY SADNESS,
    F#m B E-----B
EASE MY TROUBLES, AND MAKE ME NEW

    V2
    E G#m A B
OH YOUR SON IN ALL HIS GLORY,
    E G#m A B
FILLS MY LIFE WITH HOPE AND COMFORT TOO,
    A
YOU BRING ME JOY AND LAUGHTER,
    G#m
YOU MAKE MY WHOLE LIFE BETTER,
    F#m B E-----B
YOU BRING SALVATION, THAT’S WHAT YOU DO

    Bridge:
    A
YOURS IS A LOVE THAT’S DIVINE, AND I’M THANKFUL IT’S MINE,
    G#m
AND IT CAME THROUGH YOUR SON,
    A
AT THE END OF THE DAY, I WILL GIVE THANKS AND PRAISE,
    G#m B
TO THE ONE, ONLY BEGOTTEN SON

And then if you like southern rock, here is my version of "Gimme Three Steps"

Give me three steps P1 of 2
A PARODY OF “Gimme three steps”-Words by Bryant S. Skillern
    Intro: D---A---D---A---B-D---(next)-D---A---D---E---A---D---G--F#-F-E
    Verse 1:
    D
Well I was living my life, in a world full of strife,
    A
doing anything I wanted to do.
    D
When along came a man, with a book in his hand,
    E A
and he was preaching to you- know- who.
    D
He said “Hey there Bubba, don’t ya know that I love ya,
    G F# F E
so I’ve got some- thing to say.”
    D
“You’ve been living in sin, and when it comes to an end,
    A D
there’s a price you’re gonna have to pay.
    Short lead then Verse 2:
    D
Well he opened the book, and he gave me a look,
    A
and I knew just where I stood.
    D
As he read me the law, in the reflection I saw,
    E A
that my future wasn’t lookin’ so good.
    D G F# F E
I had lied and stole and broke them all, as I headed for eter -ni- ty,
    D
I was now aware, that there’s a God who cares,
    A D
and this might be all for me.

    Chorus: P2 of 2
    D
Won’t Ya give me three steps, give me three steps Jesus,
    A
give me three steps towards Your cross.
    D
Give me three steps, give me three steps Jesus,
    A D
so my soul won’t have to be lost.

    Lead (like intro)

    Verse 3:
    D A
Well the veil fell away, as I began to pray, and the water fell on the floor,
    D
And I’m a tellin’ you son, well it won’t be fun,
    E A
when you reach that judgment door.
    D G F# F E
If you try and enter in with sin, then you’ll be burnin’ for eter- n- ity,
    D A D
If you repent today, there’s a better Way, so bow down to Jesus with me.

    Chorus:
    D
Won’t Ya give me three steps, give me three steps Jesus,
    A
give me three steps towards Your cross.
    D
Give me three steps, give me three steps Jesus,
    A D
so my soul won’t have to be lost.

Some hyper-religious folks might call these evil. However, They are tools for reaching the lost and for building up (edifying) the body of Christ.

On the 2nd Saturday of August we sponsor an event in our little town called "A SPARK IN THE PARK". It features our FFF Praise Band and several other Christian artists. The gospel is preached, and the love of Christ is shown to many lost souls. At the same time, the believers get to have a day in the park praising the Lord too!
This next summer will be our 6th Annual event. It has been awesome to watch it grow.

Sadly, the other church in our small town, a KJV only Baptist church does not participate, and they don't even recognize the music as Christian Music because it doesn't fit into their set parameters for what upright Christians should be singing.

This is sad because it is a chance to show the love of Christ to our community.

We gave away like a dozen brand new bicycles this year, on top of thousands of dollars of other prizes (thanks to many donating businesses and families). People are floored when we tell them that there is no charge. They get free hot dogs, cotton candy, pop, chips, games and many prizes, and we get to show & tell them that God loves them and wants them to become part of His family. The happy faces are priceless as we show them God's great love and grace!!!

And there sets another "church" just a couple of blocks away that snubs their nose at it because it ain't about hymnals and an organ. Truly sad.

That sounds wonderful! Do you usually do it every August? You're near Grayling, right? I usually go up North late summer and stay near there.

Now give us more audios of your songs.

When you're singing alone you've got a Mick Jagger vibe to your voice. Some portions sound almost just like him to me.

Well, if you REALLY want to reach the lost... why not serve beer and hire some strippers?

Lots of folks will come out to hear the "gospel" if this is done.

Enjoy the secular music while ya can cause... it's not going to be found in God's Kingdom
