I'm reacting to this post as this thought process about Justin Bieber just drives me nuts. This is not personally against you, Ro.

Justin Bieber was raised in a VERY strict Christian home. So he's struggled some since he hit the limelight. Who wouldn't. And I believe he's only 22 right now. People need to give the kid a break and pray for him...

I was at a conference a couple weeks ago and one of the main speakers had been called in by his Mom to pray with Justin before his concert in Edmonton. So the speaker and another person went and prayed with him. He's trying to get his feet back under him.

Christians continually ridiculing isn't helping. It's bad enough that the secular world beats the tar out of him...

    Sheesh.

Right, nobody should speak up and say he should be following God's Word... in mainstream Christian culture, it's quite popular to be friends with the world so we wouldn't want to speak out against that.

God says man is without excuse and His grace has been shown to them. It's too bad that the so-called "pastors" that have been "ministering" to him (hillsong) are also gay friendly. That lets you know upfront that they don't know the Lord.

There's a big difference between telling someone the truth and ridiculing and judging. I've noticed you don't know the difference yet.

And of course you have a right to express your erroneous opinion that exposes your lack of knowledge of the whole Gospel.

You should read some of the things God says in His Word... He's quite the smart aleck, and He's absolutely right!

Let God be true and every man a liar, unless he is saying what God says... such as REPENT Bieber

If we all put him on ignore he'll have no-one to rebuke.

Selena Gomez is not a Christian singer. Lucifer was known as an Angel of light, and he likes to masquerade. Selena is a cute girl, and it is natural for many to feel for her. Satan wraps sin into pretty packages. "Same Old Love" video seems to be about a woman running away from her husband. That would make the song, in the context, more of a Lilith like song. Selena also sings "Stars Dance." Stars are a theme in The Bible. Sons of Abraham are to number like the stars, and we are Sons of Abraham through Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. "Stars Dance" is not in that context.

God's Love is fatherly. Is Justin Bieber out of line? He took a girls virginity and left her instead of marrying her. He should be rebuked. Christ is to man as man is to woman. (1 Corinthians 11:3) Given Justin Bieber is a Christian, he was a bad ambassador of God's Love. God's love is fatherly. It has nothing to do with sex. In the aspect of love and marriage, God is First and last, he was man's First love as his creator, and he will be man's Last love. Every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess. Given Justin Bieber took Selena Gomez's virginity, and left her, what he did was an abomination. He is also a role model for young kids, or they look up to him at times. I was a substitute teacher. What do you think Middle School Students talk about?

I agree. His mother, his pastor, or spiritual mentor should have schooled him better on 1 Corinthians 15:33. Sometimes people get stupid when millions of dollars is staring them the face. He was too young to handle all that fame and money. He didn't have strong, male mature Christians to counsel him on his way to fame, and being around the likes of certain rap artists didn't help.

Most twenty-something celebrities aren't mature enough to be anyone's role model. Shame on parents that don't train their children to choose wisely whom they emulate. Justin didn't have a sufficient role himself, how in the world can he be anyone else's? Parents should be their kids role model. -_-

And he didn't force Selena to have sex. She could've said NO. They did what young people do when left to their own devices. He's not the only one of the two that should be rebuked.
When your praise match your prayers, the answer will come.

Given the Bible, Justin should have married her. That would have been the right thing to do. Men are leaders. Justin Bieber is or was a boy, and not a man.

I have learned to view, to an extent, much of what goes on with celebrities and politicians more like a Soap Opera or WWE Wrestling. The fight is fixed. Many young people grew up with a Miley Cyrus. She was a more wholesome family figure. What happens when she is corrupted? What does that do to the young people that grew up knowing her and their hearts? Selena Gomez is a similar circle. There is a lot of ugly business going on. Ploy of the enemy.
