Nothing "off" in these movies??? People aren't sleeping together before marriage? No overt or subtle homosexual acceptance? No blatant praising of evil? No profanity? My soul and my spirit is just over entertainment - I semi-watched the 1951 version of A Christmas Carol last night while I was working on a puzzle. Is this a good channel to watch?? I really wanna know!

Yes. It was a good movie. It even has one of the Oak Ridge Boys in it. Very heart warming movie. Parts of it brought tears to my eyes. We watched it for family movie time last night. If you click on the link I posted above the movie there are more that are supposed to be clean, quality movies. I plan on checking out more of them. When it was over I told my wife that it was better than any Hallmark movie we had seen.

    That's awesome, thanks for sharing.

Just thought I'd check out a movie and I'm part way in to Lucy Shimmers and the Prince of Peace. Commercials ever 8 min or so.

It seems to be about the same quality as Pureflix but of course, we pay for a subscription, so there are no commercials.

The ads that play are around 10 seconds, so for free movies that is great!

Funny thing, this movie takes place in Fayetteville TN. I just looked it up and it is a real place. I spotted the diner from the movie in the downtown video.

I've seen some Hallmark movies and frankly couldn't watch them. Toooooo sentimental and sappy. Very poor acting (might have been the selection). And cinematography grade would be a C-.

In one scene, a boy was walking in the woods for a long period of time, but every scene was this boy walking past the same trees, the same path, the same rock, etc. So I swore off of Hallmark movies. I'll give this one a go for Friday night maybe.

    Hallmark is totally predictable.
