    The Joker

No, I haven't seen it and I won't. But judging from some FB posts of friends, many Christians are seeing it. This really gets me. You only have to see the ads to know this is utterly demonic. Why do people, especially Christians, open themselves up to a whole host of hellishly designed problems by exposing themselves so readily to the enemy's bait? Not just that movie, but much of TV is filled with demonic garbage.

Sometimes when someone asks me to pray for their hellish situation, I want to first ask them what have they been feeding themselves in the way of movies, TV, books, music, and other Satanically driven media?

The current tragedy in the church is a lack of simply discerning evil and avoiding it. Think of how much pain our families could avoid by simply learning to stay away from evil? <end of rant>

Most of the "church" doesn't believe in demons and many of those who do are afraid of them.
Just watched this clip of an interview from Lester Sumrall today.

    Great post Bookie.
Many Christians think you can swallow poison and not get hurt

If Christians would err on the side of holiness, instead of erring on the side of grace, they'd see more in their lives: more power, more abundance, more revelation, more dreams, more visions, more enlightened eyes, more of God. Instead they fill their eyes and ears with shows that would make our forefathers cringe. They view any form of entertainment as their "right" so they can justify themselves, and make a shipwreck of their souls.

But, you know, leaders don't even make wise choices in this area. In years past, we have had pastors who would talk more about the news than the Gospel. They would claim they were operating in the Issachar anointing. But Sunday after Sunday of news reporting with very of the Word of God weakened them and the whole congregation. Of course, I didn't operate in this level of discernment back then, or I would have vamoosed!

Even reading, scrolling through Facebook... I've chosen to be careful about what gets in. When I am full of the Word, when my soul and spirit are full of the presence of God, life is soooo much better for me and those around me. I use Duck, Duck, Go for searches online so I don't get a whole bunch of selected ads when I am reviewing my email, or surfing other sites. Anything to cleanse the atmosphere. I also quit using a Yahoo email address because their spam filter is not as good as Gmail. There are some things I just don't need to see.

This is one of my "soapbox" subjects, too.

Another FB friend just said it's the best movie she's seen. And she's a mature Christian. Could I be wrong for the first time in 2019?
