So when we warn against such things : gambling sites/casinos, porny or ultraviolent or ultra-alternative movies, engaging in booty dancing or similar - then that is pretty much the same thing as they did back then with the stuff of those times : card playing, theatres, dancing. In addition to the obvious stuff like gambling with big money, prostitutes, adultery etc. that doesn't require a cultural context to understand.
To employ an example, Aimee Semple McPherson recounts in her 1919 biography how she as a teenager had to choose between the things of this world and following Christ and that included staying away from dancing. To her that wasn't being religious, it was very real.

I don't know if Carlton was born again or not....nor is it relevant at the end of the day....but I don't need to believe he was not because I believe Hebrews 6 speaks clearly to people who were but willfully and knowingly turn to Satan and sin rejecting God.

I’m partial to the scriptures saying a dog is returned to it’s vomit in this case. But I do get your point with Heb 6.

That's a powerful verse. Since the Apostle Peter uses it then we can believe a once saved person can indeed return to vomit
