From Wikipedia..."Pine has stated, "I definitely have a spiritual outlook... I am not a religious guy, I am probably agnostic."

On March 1, 2014, while filming Z for Zachariah in New Zealand, Pine was arrested by police near Methven after failing to pass a routine roadside breath alcohol test. He pleaded guilty to drunk driving on March 17, stating that he drank four vodkas at a local pub. Pine was disqualified from driving in New Zealand for six months and ordered to pay NZ$93 in reparation. He had a clean record, and the judge said that "the incident was out of character."

Other than the above mentioned infraction and being agnostic, he seems pretty normal by the world's standards; and he has a girlfriend, so it appears he's heterosexual. He comes from an interesting lineage too; Russian Jewish, English, Welsh, German, and French. Oh, did I mention he also is the new Captain Kirk and he's kinda cute?

I used to enjoy Wonder Woman comic books, but my favorite was Superman.

I'm not a big Star Trek fan, but I do think he's perfect as the "young" Capt. James T. Kirk - Seriously, he looks sooo much like Shatner probably looked 50 years ago.

Yes, i had that same thought. He could be his son or grandson, the resemblance is that strong.

Ditto! He's a great choice for young Kirk and I've been enjoying him in some other roles also.

Ok, so Bookie sent me this video on Facebook! It captures the essence of how we felt after seeing the film. LOL! WARNING! It's hilarious!

Gal Gadot is Israeli and definitely not a Greek Goddess. But it's a movie and that means it's Hollywood normal. I'm looking forward to watching this one on an airplane some day.

I don't think anyone mistook her for a Greek goddess. Her role in the film is no different than other superheroe's roles, other than she's female. Most mature adults can separate the actress from the real person. It's an added bonus that she was a soldier in real life fighting for a worthy cause. It makes watching her on screen as a superhero all the more enjoyable.
