Nuthin wrong with sayin what God says about us... the Lord enjoys it when His children do what He does.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Anyway, I do enjoy the hillbilly and certainly love all people, even those who lack teeth.

They can be a bit frustrating when trying get things done but otherwise they are fine folks.

Just so you know, Ephesians 2:8-9 does not cancel out 2 Corinthians 10:17 and Revelation 12:11

If it did, then God would be contradicting His own Word which would make Him a liar.

Only unlearned men, those not cognizant of His character or walking in a different spirit can create contradictions. God does not contradict himself.

We do not boast in our own selves, mere men.

Why not boast in the Lord, and give glory to what He has done in us... saying what He says about us?

    That is correct.

Therefore, as it is written: "Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord."

But, we'd better not go around saying what God said in His Word about us... that would be 'word of faith'

    Romans 10:6-11
But the righteousness which is of faith speaks on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
    But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (DELIVERANCE).
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed.

It's too bad many Christians use this to get born again and then never use it again... just because some TV preachers use it in error to enrich themselves personally.

    Colossians 2:6
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him

This is why satan walks all over many Christians because they refuse to speak what God says is true about them having been translated from darkness into the Kingdom of God's Son (Colossians 1:13)

As a child of God and a citizen of His Kingdom... what He says about His people is true and His people should be repeating, believing, and acting on what God says about them since He is no liar and He watches over His promises to perform them (Jeremiah 1:12), and Jesus Christ is the High Priest of our profession (Hebrews 3:1)

You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat.

Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.
