    Australian Driving Hazards

Country people have to put up with a lot of road hazards. But we try keep quiet about them so as not to worry the tourists or the sensitive city folk.

Saw this one on the way home yesterday. Used my phone's zoom to take the picture as I didn't want to get to close as these things can be dangerous.

The official description of the sign is "Beware of buses hiding in trees". If they happen to jump out on you they will do a lot of damage.

Is there a sign for "beware of signs hidden in vegetation" ? There should be some for walls and stuff hidden right inside vegetation protruding into the road in some countries.

Sorry, not at the moment. I was driving alone so was able to turn around and go back to take the picture.

What makes me think it might be fake is it appears to be a road through the desert. Last time I checked there were no sharks, gators, or jellyfish in the desert. :)
