Edit: I had to look it up. Heck, they had it circled and I still didn't see it at first.

Me either - All I see is what appears to be a rock stuck in a wall of stones - I've turned my head (and my laptop) in every direction, but I don't see Groucho Marx or a cigar. -

He's sitting behind the small stone in the slit.

Just kidding, I have no clue. Even if I assume that the black line is the cigar.

It is a cigar sticking out from the wall. Once you see it, it is hard to not see it. The brown cigar is sticking straight out from the wall.

It looks like this cigar without the hand. Just the cigar.

Remember it is sticking straight out with the unlighted end sticking in the crack of the wall

I understand, that is actually a physical object. But it has nothing to do with Groucho Marx.

The illusion is only possible because the photo is fuzzy or has been made fuzzy. The mind is too good at unfuzzying it, that's the main problem.

Colonel, that small stone you think you are seeing are the ashes on the end of the lighted cigar.

The lighted end of the cigar is out from the wall with the other, unlighted end, stuck in the slit or crack of the wall.

I am sorry that I am not describing it so you can see. Remember it is an illusion and you just have to SEE it, one of those "aha" moments.

It is a tough one to see.

Right, it has nothing to do with Groucho's cigar. That was just a clue.

I admit I had to resort to a google, I just kept seeing what appeared to be a rock stuck in a crevice and since no one else was getting it either I threw out the Groucho clue as he was known for his cigar.

If you're still not seeing it try lightening your screen, it helps to define the cigar better.

I did see it after your explanation. The reason why I thought I saw a stone is that the photo is fuzzy. If it had been sharp then everyone would have seen the cigar.
