That's another one right there. Granny gear doesn't exist anymore unless you have a semi tractor. Cyclist's however will still use that term. When I ride a course that is hilly (we are totally hilly here) and in the ride never use the granny gear, you are doing pretty good unless you have mountain bike gears. I term it a "no granny ride".
