    ...and more surprise, surprise!

Vegetarian hot dogs sometimes contain meat...and human DNA too: :bado:

I read about that but human DNA contamination could was easily occur during manufacturing. That said, probably most soy-based vegetarian "meat substitutes" aren't healthy at all. It'd be better to get chicken franks then veggie ones.

We didn't eat it directly, but we used it in beans for flavoring. That's what is known as "pork belly" today. :bado:

We used it as seasoning meat, but we'd also fry it and eat it.

    We did too, Lista...

Sometimes, it was the only "meat" we had.

We didn't fry it and eat it, but we did fry up and eat Spam. I thought it was really good (the Spam). Nothing like scraping off that gelatinous goo when you pop open the can. I had many Spam sandwiches as a kid.

Pork belly does have meat. It actually just looks like thick bacon. It's not fatback. Fatback is just what it says it is, fat off the back of the pig.
