    The Cyclist Thread

Just a little thread to share your bike riding experiences, thoughts and etc.

After a late afternoon ride And shower I noticed mild sunburn on chest and back. This isnt much of a noteworthy mention except it was while wearing a UA riding jersey. Go figure. I have heard of this happening but not here north of the 45th. Weird.

I suppose it means that your skin currently has no ability to resist the few sunrays that got through.

    I doubt that.

So we have several tins where we store different grades of plastic...hard plastic, softer plastic, because that's how the city wants us to do it. So on pickup day we put it all in the bin and...oh, CYCLING.

    Never mind.

We dont get a pick up day even though I may drive my pickup to the pick up point where others drive their pickups.

I haven't ridden much at all since I had my daughter. I miss it. My favorite is taking the bike over to the local park, and riding the trails.

I’ve stayed with it for the peace and solitude it brings me especially after stressful days. When taking the 6 year sabbatical from pastoring riding became therapeutic, often “meeting” God on the long rides.

I did a cycling class about 6 months ago. I thought it was gonna kill me.

(not to mention, my rear end was NOT happy)
