    running?

backstory first. I had Ellenie 2 and 1/2 years ago....I started running again after I had her, and lost all of my pregnancy weight. I ran a 15k, and then decided to stop running for a while (it was Winter...I was a baby) In the course of the last year and a half since I quit running I have put on 30 pounds! I started running again 5 weeks ago, and I've been pretty consistent. 3-4 times a week...at least 30 minutes each time I go out. I haven't lost a single solitary pound. Talk about frustrating!

    I found this article: http://www.shape.com/weight-loss/wei...ou-lose-weight

so tonight I'm going to try, jog for 1.5 minutes, walk 1, sprint 1, walk 1...repeat.

We'll see if that doesn't change it up for me.

Anyone else have the same issues?

People who don't exercise for hours per day tend to end up eating a bit more to cover the calories burnt so you have to watch what you eat in addition.

I'm eating the same as before... (granted, I'm not nursing a baby anymore...that might have a LITTLE something to do with the calories )

Just eat less than you do right now. 450 kcal per day = 1 pound weight loss per week if your metabolism doesn't change.

Works for me, some will not agree.

Ideal body weight divided by two = fat grams per day.

Auto pilot to your ideal weight.

I started crossfit about 4 months ago and they have running from time to time. Well, mine is more slow jogging. lol.

We had a workout last week that was 5 rounds and each round had a 400 meter run in it. One round was 10 back squats, 10 deadlifts, then a 400 meter run and rest 2 minutes. Had to do that 5 times.

Just what I was about to say. The first couple of months of crossfit I didnt' lose a pound due to eating more because all that exercise made me hungrier. lol.

oh my word...I have tried crossfit twice now, and both times it nearly killed me. I told my boys that I would do it if one of them would commit to going with me, but I KNOW I won't go by myself. That stuff is CRAZY! (needless to say...neither wanted to go with me)
