    Actually, I think it's a genetic thing. My Mother had the same symptoms at my age, and it was blown off as her being out of shape. A couple of years ago her heart went completely out of rhythm...over 200 beats. They did some more extensive tests and realized that there was some connector in her heart that was a little wonky. They cauterized it, and she has been fine since. There's also medicine you can take for Tachycardia...so I'm just waiting to see what the Dr. has to say, and go from there.

    ok Colonel....I'm gonna say this slowly and succinctly.

    My heart has been running in the anaerobic stage every time I run, walk up a hill, ride a bike, walk up stairs, etc. I don't WANT my heart going that fast, and I'm certainly not doing intervals to get it to go that fast...it's just happening. Which is why I'm doing the stress test on Monday.

    Okay, I understand. You were talking about your heart beating faster than it should have. But technically anaerobic is where you cannot keep up the pace over time without your muscles going stiff.
