Well, I have read stories about people that when they're lying there the attendants see they are an organ donor and not helping them like they should. I don't want anybody hastening my death God forbid I should ever be in that situation.

We have a middle aged man in our fellowship who underwent a double lung transplant recently. He's so grateful the young 19-year-old who died (apparently suddenly) was an organ donor. On the other hand, a Christian friend we know refused a heart transplant for ethical reasons and trusted God. He lived several years beyond the doctors' prediction and died a couple of years ago at 71.

One of the most Christ-like Christian I know is leaving her body to science. That surprised me.

I'm a donor, but like some of you, my parts are pretty worn.

Not enough to make one want to pull the plug.

I'm a donor, not sure anyone wants my old parts, (I'm planning to be very, very old when I die)
