Eddie Hall nearly dies breaking world record. This is an incredible feat but his brain must have been close to exploding
The stress on his body would be crazy

Man, that was brutal. I just set a new record for myself a couple of months ago, but it was only 300 lbs.

That's what undrugged people go for, 300-600 pounds or something like that, depending on how serious they are and their talent. Eddie Hall must have gone crazy with the drugs for that lift, he even looks more drugged than usual.

Not at that those events, I think. They are mostly insulin driven and they dont know how to test that. A test might get them for steroids or support drugs but things are getting very high tech and complicated. The guy who has the current ipf world record is probably no less drugged but still passed their tests. Those guys have sort of divided themselves into two groups socially speaking : insulin monsters and "just steroids" (whatever else basically). The guys competing at the type of event from the video are mostly insulin monsters. In terms of top bodybuilders, Arnold and Lee Haney are the last generation who didnt abuse insulin. Not all competitive strength athletes use that however.

At the time of Ben Johnson it was possible to tell that he was a major steroid abuser and the other sprinters at worst minor. By now things are getting complicated. Some of them use very complicated cocktails of drugs with a very synergistic effect. Not much of each drug but the effect multiplies rather than adds up. Usain Bolt teamed up with a guy some years ago who is a known expert on that sort of thing. There are others who are on elaborate drug regimes including for low fat percentage. The star of the Portuguese soccer team is a likely candidate even though he isnt very large. It's impossible these days to tell by looks how enhanced athletes are but one can tell the monsters.

What does "insulin monster" actually mean?

They abuse insulin to manipulate how the body processes food. With careful tweaking they can make the body stack up on muscle. The result is something that looks inflated in every direction. A really large insulin abuser is sort of steering his body rather than controlling it when he lifts hard, a body that is not quite his own. They can go into insulin shock and even die from a mishap so they are carrying their lives in their arms several times a day.
