    Healthy "filling" snacks/foods

Obviously, this question is for beyond the fast/cleanse, but I get sabatoged with hunger when dieting.
What are some healthy snacks that are filling? What do you like? (MINUS RICE CAKES.)

My favorite is air popped popcorn with a drizzle of coconut oil. I have that when I need a late night snack.

I WISH I had answers for you. I'm struggling with the same thing! I want carbs for a snack...I don't feel full unless I've eaten a carb during a meal.

    That's a problem you have there. :)

I think it's more the carbs combined with the fat you're having at the meal too that makes you 'satisfied' full. Fat alone should do it. Fat is what satiates us. But most people's favorite stuff is carbs and fat combined (the very definition of 'comfort' food), which is a bad combo health wise.

What kind of dieting are you doing? Atkins or a similar low carb? You really don't get hungry when you're doing low carb plus on a lot of them you can eat all you want of most meats, eggs, cheeses and similar high protein/high fat items. Good snacks on that type of diet would be something like deviled eggs, pork rinds, cream cheese on celery sticks, etc.

Is it hunger? Or is it cravings? Hunger is physical (growling stomach.)

No specific diet. Just healthier choices, and portion control-and increasing activity. Trying to eat "clean" more. Aiming for 80% clean, at least.

Not sure, to be honest. Not usually stomach growling, but get nauseous. Usually mid-morning. Afternoons are not so bad.

Are you taking vitamins or supplements in the morning? They sometimes make me nauseous, so I take them right before dinner.
