Lemonade Diet
Ok, the title founds funny. Originally, it was the Master Cleanser, but a guy, Peter Glickman, rebranded it.
Basically, it is water, lemon juice, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper. You "fast" on it for at least ten days, primarily for cleaning/detox. I thought it might be good to combine with fasting, though.
Has anyone tried it?
I saw it via Mark Virkler, and borrowed the book via the library.

I tried it for a couple of days, but didn't go the full recommended 10-14 days just drinking it and nothing else.
Now that you've mentioned it, I might give it a try again.

I did!
A few co-workers and I tried it several years ago and got good results. Lost weight, about a pound a day, and what I recall most is there were no hunger pangs. That impressed me.
My sister does it about once a year or so, as do her coworkers (they work in the plant at GM, and like to do a cleanse every so often). One of the men lost 30 pounds in one month!
But I think it's best used if one is Fasting for longer than two days, I stayed on it for 2 days and lost 3 pounds. My sister/friend lost 5 pounds in 5 days. Everybody is different, but wisdom should be used.

I started it on Monday, but ended up with both a sinus infection and a bad stomach virus, so I stopped. I don't believe either one is connected to the diet/fast, but not a good time to be drinking lemon juice and pepper.
