Anyone else gain weight this holiday season?
I'd been avoiding the scale the last couple of weeks because of all the baking and other goodies that were so plentiful but I figured it was time to check it out...4 pounds! I'm hoping that most of it is just water retention from all the carbs.

yep a few lb. ....... Ive allowed myself some baking and other things made with wheat flour and it's caused some inflammation... quite painful to be honest ... Not to mention my favorite ice cream and other snacks... So I'm going to have to do a major cleanse very soon... so that will also take care of the weight...

Those two pounds were really easy, it seemed to be mostly a matter of having more food in the stomach than usual. The hotel in Morocco was all inclusive which meant a lot of nice food including cakes and sweets three times a day. Thankfully they had a treadmill and I also went to a gym once.

I gained 5 pounds in a week, I knew that was water weight so I dropped all the sugar and carbs and was down 3 pounds the next day. I'm doing weight watchers, I don't have that much to lose, but I need the accountability that WW provides.

It's amazing how much water retention eating carbs causes. I can lose 10 lbs of water in 3 days cutting out the carbs after eating them a few days.
