After stalling out at around 12lbs, I am giving up on Keto. Meanwhile, I will work on portions and eat no added sugar. And exercise of course.

I understand not wanting to continue keto, it's rough! Sometimes it takes awhile for the body to become fat adapted and it can take a month or more to lose significant weight. It actually took me almost 3 months with fasting. I would definitely recommend continuing to watch Dr. Ekberg, he has a lot of really excellent information.

I will say as someone who is (unfortunately) very experienced at this, that weight loss is 100% nutrition. There is a saying something like weight loss in the kitchen and fitness at the gym. And it basically comes down to calorie restriction even with keto. People do keto obviously for the weight loss but also for the health benefits of being in ketosis such as inflammation reduction. Exercise will definitely help in the weigh loss if you figure out an amount of calories to make you lose weight, then the exercise will burn some more calories off. But you gotta eat 'right' to lose weigh, no matter what that 'right' is. And you can't take in more calories than you burn. It's just a fact I had to admit after many years.

Well said. I use both calorie reduction and routine exercise with success. Everyone would do well to find that set point of the amount of calories in your weekly routine where you lose weight. This makes monitoring the process understandable and reasonable.
