Keto & intermittent fasting
Started my journey to lose about 50 pounds or so this week. I am doing Keto and intermittent fasting. I only eat between the hours of 11a.m. and 7 p.m. Sitting at 250 and it is hard on my knees, hips, feet and overall energy. Not sure what my ideal weight should be, but I know it is not 250.
I am thinking no more than 200 for a 60 year old man who is 6' tall.
I'll let y'all know how it is going.

I found that starting IF when I had already been doing Keto made it very easy to adapt to and I lost 25 pounds. (all I wanted to lose) and have stayed within 5 pounds since March. I think the combination is key. Good luck to you!

I have lost 9 lbs so far. This morning I went for a brisk walk just over half a mile with a long grade back up to my office at the end of it. Need to start adding in the walking. I haven't exercised on purpose since retiring from the military in '02. The journey continues!

Not sure how long that took but just try to walk 30 minutes a day at a minimum. Walking does wonders. As you get more use to it increase intensity by either walking further or walking faster.
