Seriously, Tom, I just meant that fires turn, wind carries them, people get evacuated, it's just unpredictable.

I wasn't even thinking war because Israel has always had to protect itself against terrorism... my own kids and many of my friends have been over there. It's a holy and wonderful land.

Well...how was it? What was your favorite site? Got pics? :)

Sadly, Peace has not been in contact with me. Hopefully it isn't my fault. I've been out with two different tour groups and may have missed her. I get very busy while I'm guiding a tour group. Peace? Where are you?

You want Israel pictures? I've got thousands. By the way, HappySandyH has a site called Lovers of Israel.

Sorry, Tom. No, it was not your fault. Our schedule was very tight and I expected yours was, too, so I stuck with my group. But I hope to God that one day I will be able to go back. It was a wonderful experience!

It's hard to say what was my favorite site, but the Sea of Galile was wonderful. Magdala and Capernaum. And the Sermon on the Mount hills. Of course Masada and the Dead Sea was something else and not to speak of Jerusalem. The last two days we stayed at Jerusalem House of Prayer and we got to join a prayer night with people from all over the world. That was also a favorite of mine. We were able to be in churches with both Arab Christians and Messianic believers. I especially enjoyed the last one in a home with Rachel and Avner Boskey in Beersheva. And well, after having seen miles after miles of the Negev desert it was nice to find the delightful shopping mall of Mamila in Jerusalem :) before we entered the Old Town. The Western Wall had a great atmosphere. I definitely want to go back some day!

    Loved the sculptures in Mamila.
