    Vinegar will not fade or take the color out of your clothes..Not sure about using it with bleach..

    We made our own detergent a few times. It worked quite well, and was a little cheapest than the cheapest brands. I find it hard to find the time and energy to do it often though.

    PapaB....did you use the liquid Castille soap, or shred the bar?
