Scoring Black Friday Deals - How did you do?
Well, it looks like the Black Friday deals are here well in advance of the actual Friday.
This weekend we bought two types of items that we couldn't pass up.
1 - A Dyson Big-Ball vacuum Cut from $429 to $150 at Macy (including a 20% discount with new Macy CC)
2 - King Comforter and Duvet - The Heavenly bed class type of bedding that feels like you're sleeping on a cloud. We're already sleeping better - something we realized is really worth the investment, as losing sleep is really bad for you. From $800 to about $350.

That's a good deal on the Dyson. I haven't bought anything yet but would love to hear about anyone else's deals.

I actually did get a decent Dell PC laptop fo $399 that was normally $599. I personally use a MacBook Pro, but needed a PC to do some things on that are just easier in Windows 10. I do have a virtual machine (VM) on my MacBook to run some Windows software, but just too much trouble sometimes. So got the Windows laptop.

If we need anything for our home, we generally use our credit card rewards program. Otherwise, we are like Quest, content.

We have never shopped on that day or succombed to the hype surrounding it. The day after Christmas in our child rearing days, now that was different. There was always that one gift someone wanted to exchange.

...and participating in Black Friday doesn't necessarily mean you are not content :)
It's a great time if the year to replace necessities like a broken vacuum cleaner.

No way I would go shopping today or tomorrow. My computer deal was a pre-black Friday deal. Went on a Sunday morning right when it opened, hardly anybody in the store, and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. That's how you do it. lol.
