Here are the two quilts I gifted to two young women, who graduate from college next weekend. They are amazing young ladies, and have had a rough life. But through it all, they have come through the other side. I know I posted it on Facebook, but some here are not connected with me there. Just thought I would add it here too.

Thank you! The one on the right was a fabric line with lots of purples.....just turned out so pretty to me. Plus it helped that purple is her favorite color! The one on the left, that girl literally *hugged* the fabric before it was even a quilt. lol I originally purchased the mauve and grey fabric for myself, with that design in mind, but how could I do anything but gift it to her. I know the grey looks like it's green, but it a deep grey, and it is one pattern in the future I will make for myself. I can see this in a blue, or red even. I will find the right mix of colors that will look wonderful.
Both quilts were fun and so easy to put together. And those two girls, they have my heart. If they could be mine, I would gobble them up. They are very precious to me.

My new project. I always need to have a project going. But I am in love with this pattern. It may "look" not lined up, that is because it's just in blocks and not sewn together. Can't wait to do this in a blue. But waiting for it to be back in stock. The blue, looks like the night sky with stars. oohh, can't wait.

That is a pretty pattern! How long does it usually take you to finish one?
