    Jan - 1981 Basic Training. I was in from Dec 1981 - Dec 1984 - 4 years active, 2 years reserves inactive - Credit 6 years.

    Fort Sill OK 1984 - Veterans Funeral Detail, I was in charge of. I presented the US Flag with 3 shell casings from the 21 gun salute to a family member. I was on that duty for a month during late summer, sure did a lot of them. We carry the casket, did the 21 one gun salute. I presented the flag and then the Army Band Trumpet Player member played taps. During taps, it always humbled you big time.
