What a long strange trip it's been - recession, depression, aggregation.

Before I start, could someone help me with making my post run better by telling me how I do II keep a quote from a post and add a reply. So folks don't have to scroll a bunch to try and figure out what I'm talking about? A little re-education on how to use a thread and post. Also how to delete a post. I'm a bit in a memory loss on how it is done on things here.

Then I'll get on with the things from the title and up date on some things I went through on my time away.

As well as catch up with some of you'll.

Ok, well maybe someone can tell later, Thx Brother. I was going to go to that Jacksonville Trump rally until it got cancelled. But while down south was going to look for sandwich spread I remember that was a discussion on here long ago. Didn't remember the name of it, but I know I could have found it probably pretty easy. The Fuego's stuff he bragged on, so I could get a taste of it. (the things that stay with you, Lol) Miracle Whip man here ya know,, Lol.

    Chapter 2: Looking for work.

Ok, where to begin,,,,, think when I last was on F&FF last my 3rd divorce had ended, I know I was a bit embarrassed on how emotionally wrecked it had left me in. But I finally found work at a small plant that hired me to do the same thing I had did at another job for 13 years. They asked me what I wanted an hour and they said no problem, (which freaked my weirdness) but worked their until they were about to shut their doors then laid me off. Almost got into another relationship during that time, but I crossed a line in there I wasn't comfortable in doing. Which is worldly and she wasn't saved, so had to end that, wasn't going be unevenly yoked again. So I turned away from that sin. I fled, the phone rang off the hook awhile.

So was back on unemployment for a bit, which I wasn't sure I was gonna get cause I had nearly a 6 month draw in there that I couldn't get to for some odd reason. But my account had been messed with that had stopped my check from coming, while I was still married to Jody. So figure that, odd indeed. She knew how to access it during that time. But then found an even better paying job really quick after. Most I'd ever made an hour, but boy it was hard work.

But they just didn't like me, and I knew really why. Because I did not cuss, I'd walk away from guys telling dirty jokes then they found out why. Because I was a Christian, and walking the walk. I did my job and then some, did all they would ask of me. They told me well we asked you to get more tools and you haven't done that. They were big wrenches and big pipe wrenches I needed. Which is not cheap,, if you know what I mean. But when I need them items for a job assignment I'd borrow them off the foreman.

They also said I took to long on some jobs, well the reason I did was I'd try to figure out why the machine was breaking the part everyday. Then fix that so it wasn't getting wrote up everyday and being down, costing production. All the other tech's would just change the part quick then move on. That's not mechanic's in my book, still ain't. So was back on unemployment again. -2012- More to come.....

Chapter 3: Troubles with A1C - Not my time to go.

In 2012 I ended up in the hospital for high sugar, for 7 days. I found out why my A1C blood work had never got below 16 where 6 is the goal average. For 6 years I had been taking the fast acting dose as my long lasting dose. The VA doctor when they changed my type of insulin told me back wards what to do. I remember when I got home from the VA reading the box on the stuff was different than what the VA Primary Care Doc had told me. I told Jody to get them on the phone, I talked to RN about it then and she told me well do what the Doc said there must be a misprint on the labeling. It was no wonder why I had so much trouble staying regulated. Insulin reactions all the time, to work I had to over eat and keep eating candy all the time so I could work without going into a insulin reaction. I was all messed up health wise. But after the right dosage and diet, I got my A1C test to 6 & 7 since.

No money coming in & back child support adding up. I couldn't keep the lights on. On food stamps my sister convinced me to file for SSI in 2012, and I could stay at her house, the 2 year wait was on. I got a company to represent my case and they would get a portion of the lump sump pay out. When I was 4 months away from my final court appearance, my sister threw me out on the 30th of December 2013. It was heavy snow and cold and I would not call one of my kids to live with them.

The depression set in very hard on me that day. I called my daughter and told her what was up and to come and pick me up. She was at work. Before she could get there. I was on a pretty weak pain med, but I ate the 22 pills I had left in the bottle and left it where someone would see it laying by me when they came in the room and see when they couldn't wake me up. Because I knew I would be passed out. Not from the drugs but from an insulin shock. I injected 3 bottles of Levemir Insulin (a long lasting type 12 hours) as well as 3 bottles of Novolog Insulin (fast acting 10-15 minute kick in stuff). I covered them and the needles up with a piece of paper. Smoked one last cigarette and then prayed. Then sat in a lazy boy and waited to fall asleep. I'd left my computer on with a letter on the screen for my kids.

My brother found me and I was rushed to the local hospital where they had to jump start my heart, my daughter told me. I woke up in a Fort Wayne hospital 12 hours later for about 15 minutes hooked up to a monitor machine and an IV bag hanging next to me dipping glucose in my arm. They couldn't figure out why my sugar wouldn't keep up to level I needed. They asked me why and I told them and passed out again. That kept happening for about a day. I was there for 3 days. Then 2 Allen County Deputies came and handcuff me and drove me to the VA hospital in Marion IN. Where I was put in the locked Mental Ward area of the place to receive counselling & classes for 4 days. There were quite a few Vets in there for attempting suicide as well around the holiday season.

The VA then sent me to South Bend to Millers Vets for the homeless. I got 3 hots and cot for 8 months. They also drove me to my court hearing during then and I got my SSI, but not the back pay. The age 55 thing in the law was the best that company could get me unless I appealed the ruling. I didn't appeal it. The company only charged me 3 hundred bucks, because I didn't get the lump sum payment. So I got 3 months worth of money saved up and moved back home.
