Thread: Who from the Bible (other than Jesus) would you like to talk to?

Who from the Bible (other than Jesus) would you like to talk to?

What subjects are you most curious about, what would you like to ask them? You can choose one person from the Old Testament and one from the New Testament.

I'm second guessing myself a little here but with the OT I think I'd go with Eve, there's just so much I'm curious about...did that serpent really talk, did they have a house, how long did they live in the garden before the fall and so much more.

From the NT I'd probably go with the Apostle John, he was close to Jesus, had some awesome experiences and could explain the Book of Revelation. :)

So, how about you, who would you like to have a good long talk with?

I'm going to mess a little bit with the criteria. The answers would be John the Baptist and Peter. John the Baptist is interesting because Jesus said he was the greatest among the prophets. Paul gets to talk much in the NT but Peter actually walked with Jesus and was the leading figure in the earliest Church.

    Enoch and the Apostle John.
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...
    (Ephesians 4:17-18)

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...
    (Psalm 1)

I love this question but it is so hard! I think from the OT it would have to be.....Moses. God performed many mighty miracles through him and he still had to lead about million hard headed children through the wilderness. I can relate to that.

As for the NT. ....that one is tough. I would naturally want to speak to Jesus for obvious reasons....but I wanna talk to Peter about walking onthe water with Jesus...then again I have always admired Paul. Boy he could really write...and pray..and he had so many revelations from the Lord. I can't decide on just one.

Jonathan in the OT and Paul in the NT. I'd need some clarification from Paul on some of the issues I wish he addressed more fully.

When we stand before Jesus, he is not going to ask what everyone else told you to do....
He is going to ask "what did I tell you to do?" Press on!

I want to talk to most of them but Paul is somewhat at the top of my list. I want to be sure that I did not misinterpret any of his writings in my preaching

Then again, maybe he should be at the BOTTOM of my list.

I would like to talk to Adam from the OT and simply ask, "Why man? Whhhhhhyyyyyyyyyyyy?"

OT - Balaam's Ass would definitely be unique

    NT - Anti-christ
