You'll never know how much this blessed me sister Lorrie. Psalm 103 is the psalm I confess, sing, and meditate everyday. I was thinking of staying in today and just converse online here on the Forum, and on Facebook, but this has made me know that I must continue with my schedule, instead of shutting myself in from the world. Thank you sis. This really encouraged me.

So sad. I will miss her fire. We disagreed many times but agreed more than we disagreed. She was a prophet and for that, she came under many attacks that the normal Christian does not even comprehend. She taught me much because she had so much to give. I know she will now witness the grand finale of the Earth from a front row seat in Heaven.

I never met her in person, but enjoyed "getting to know her" through the forum. She is missed deeply. Praying for peace and comfort for her family. This is so hard for them.
It's hard for us as well. The mind can accept what the heart struggles to grasp. Love and hugs to all! xoxo

I am so sad to hear this!!! I was clearing an email account I don't use very often and saw the news.
I will miss her spirit and fire.....that woman was a force to be reckoned with.
Good bye Catchy, I never met you physically but I did meet your mind and spirit here on the forums.....I'll see you when I get there.

I was looking at 'Who's Online' and I saw a bot searching the Jan Crouch stroke thread, and went there to read, and I noticed Catchy commenting in there and it was May of last year. In my mind it had seemed like a lot longer than that she went home to be with the Lord, but it still hasn't been a year. It'll be a year on Aug. 5th. I haven't thought about her lately but I definitely miss her and feel some sadness that she's not here any longer (for myself, obviously she's having the time of her life in Glory).
I think just having my daddy just pass on, and me getting older, and seeing well known older people (and younger) in the news that are dying, I'm starting to think about eternity more, what kind of impact my life has or hasn't been on eternity, and what am I doing now that really is evidence I'm living for eternity. Charles Finney said something along the lines that if Christians would live as if what they believed about heaven, hell, and eternity were true, the world would be won in short order.
I also read where he was talking to a judge one time, and of course a judge is skilled in hearing evidence, etc, and something along the lines they were talking about actors and preachers and how people were so moved by acting but hardly responded to preachers. And the judge told him the reason is that actors take fiction but portray it as if it were real, while preachers/Christians take reality and portray it as if it were fiction by how they live. I'm thinking about this more.
Anyway, just some rambling thoughts about Catchy and eternity. Not necessarily going anywhere with it per se.
