No need to tell tales on me... it was late and I was tired!

And I STILL drive twice as much as you!

I put about 30K on my car each year..like AJ said...I would exceed the mileage limit..
But I always buy Nissan...made for long miles.. my current is a 2007 Nissan Xterra with close to 190K. Since I am retiring in a few months I plan on keeping it...she can rest when I rest..

The speed limit is 125 in AB????? That is awesome!! It's only 100km (62mph) in Ontario. Feels so slow!

Doesn't matter where I go or what I do, I have to drive 25 or more miles to do it.

PS ........ I did some editing (mine and yours)... I had some of the numbers wrong, but we still put on a lot of km.

    40,000KM=25,000miles/year

When we buy North American we buy the warranty and have always been glad we did. DH managed to get rid of his Ford Escape just as it was having major issues. He's driving a 2015 Ford Edge. I have a Subaru Outback. We got burned real bad on two used cars in our past and nearly always buy new.

Didn't say I drive the speed limit!

Major (4 lane divided) hiways are 110. Secondary are 100. And gravel/grid are 80.

I do 120-125 on the Major. 100-110 on Secondary and 80 on gravel and slower when it's muddy.

Your speed limits are much higher! Ontario is 100 on the major highways and 80 on the secondary. I haven't been on a diet or gravel road in ON in ages, so I'm not sure of the speed limit. Mostly everyone breaks the law on the highways, going well over 100. It's difficult to drive the speed limit without feeling unsafe because of many cars whizzing past.

Everything else, never. Dave Ramsey's advice on purchasing extended warranty is that it's rarely, probably never, worth the money... best to keep your money and face repairs when they come. Actually, I think he advises against buying new vehicles unless you can pay cash.
I'm with you....I drive a TON of miles. We just bought a new Grand Caravan. We were looking for a used one with low miles on it, but they were almost the same price as a new one...so we went with new. And no...we didn't get the extended warranty...just what came with it. We bought the car at the end of August and I already have right at 6000 miles on it.

My 2007 Mitsubishi has about 250,000 miles on it. Hence the new car.

Glad I did because I used it this week on some front end work I needed done and since there's only one deductible no matter how many different issues you bring it in for I also had them look at a power window that was starting to glitch a bit.

I lost my vehicle for a couple of days but both issues got fixed and the warranty has paid for itself and I still have four years left. :)
Sigh...guess what started glitching last night? The passenger side window again. I just called the dealer who replaced the master power window switch 5 months ago and at least there is a one year parts and labor warranty on it...well, if its the same part and not something else malfunctioning.

On our car the driver's window acts up and won't go down. It seems to be an intermittent issue. Mr.C says he needs to replace the switch and then it starts working again!

Stop worrying about expensive repair bills costs with an extended warranty for your Saturn. Many vehicle repairs can cost thousands of dollars in unexpected expense, now may be the time to consider an extended service plan for your vehicle.
